Summer Blog Challenge Day 5 - Short term goals for this month and why those goals.

I'm having so much fun participating in this Challenge! It's really keeping me on my blogging toes :)

This week's topic is: Short term goals for this month and why those goals.

Goal #1 - Get the house in order

My house has never been in perfect order. We've only been in this house for a little over 18 months and everything still doesn't have a place it goes. The kids rooms are a mix of odd furniture that didn't fit elsewhere and big coats that we'll never wear while we live in Hawaii. Three semesters as a full time student has really kept me from having the time I need to get the house in order.

Goal #2 - Get exercise back into my routine

Before I found out I was pregnant with Mr. C (I was actually 4 months pregnant when I found out), I was working out every night with some friends. I'd put Miss M down to sleep and then head to the gym for a late workout. It was great! I was running way more than I ever had before, I lost 10 lbs in a couple months, and I felt amazing! Three semesters, one B.A. degree, and a second baby later, exercise isn't exactly at the top of my list.
Since Mr. Eight has been back I've decided what I most want is to join an exercise class. Now that I'm not in school anymore an hour of weekly interaction with other adults will be just what I need. I know someone that started doing pole dancing classes a while ago and she looks amazing! I looked it up and it's pretty expensive, but I got the go ahead from Mr. Eight (like he would say no to pole dancing! haha!), so in a couple weeks I'm hoping to start! It's a 5 week course, so we'll see how it goes. I'm so excited!
