BuyCostumes.Com Review and Giveaway! {8/6}

I absolutely LOVE having costumes for the kids to play dress up in! No matter what time of year it is they are tons of fun! BuyCostumes.Com is a fantastic website for both children's and adults costumes. They have a huge selection to choose from!

I was so excited to review a costume for my daughter. I picked out the Rapunzel Child Costume. Miss M is a huge fan of Tangled so I knew it would be a big hit! 

This costume cost only $29.99! I couldn't believe the price. I think in a costume supply store at Halloween time this would definitely set you back more than that. 

The quality of the dress is pretty similar to most store bought costumes, but I was surprised at the difference in fabric and the detail in the dress. The sleeves, bodice and skirt are all different fabrics, and there is lace around the sleeves. It's very pretty! the dress velcros in the back with just three small squares but it held together really well while my daughter was playing. 

This costume does not include shoes or a wig, so be sure if you get it that you buy those separately! 

Overall I was really impressed with the quality of the costume, especially at that price. There were only a couple things that I wanted to mention. First, the size I chose is a 2T/4T. Miss M wears a 3T, although some brands are a little baggy, and the dress seemed a little more snug than I would have liked. It definitely fit, but I'm not sure for how much longer. Also, the sleeves have a ring of elastic around the arm that really bothered Miss M. I actually put a long sleeve shirt on her (which you can see in the picture) so that she couldn't feel the elastic. With the shirt on she loved it so I don't think it will be a problem!
