It's Wordless Wednesday yet again! I feel like this year is just flying by, anyone else have that feeling?
I'm working on a project right now and I'm sharing it with you this week! This is the first time I've shared it online and I'd love some feedback from you!
Have you seen those shops online that offer customized writings in the sand? They make great gifts, home decor, and I've even seen them used as table settings for weddings. A few years ago I bought one for Mr. Eight's birthday, it had our names and our marriage date, I loved it!
Well now that I live in paradise I'd like to give it a shot. I'd like to offer affordable JPEG images for those who aren't lucky enough to live close to the beach!
Please tell me what you think. I love constructive criticism. :)
I'll of course do customized images with names and dates, but I wanted to share something a little different.
This is the Chinese character for "love".
Remember to link up below and thanks for stopping by!

Great shot! We live beside the beach but I know that many others would love this idea!
ReplyDeleteThank you :) When I purchased one for my husband a few years ago we weren't living by a beach at all, it was so funny to see him try to puzzle out how I had done it!
DeleteExcellent idea! I think the picture is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteWhat a great idea, best of luck and of course, happy WW!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteWonderful idea! I love the beach, and am fortunate to live near several. May have to give this a try if I can find some time.
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
Thanks! I have to find time too. Right now my biggest enemy is the weather. It's still rainy season here!
DeleteNice offer!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, and a great idea!!
ReplyDeleteBUT, a reservation I would have is, that whilst for you, it is minimal cost/capitol outlay (other than a good DSLR), knowing who/what your client is and needing will be the struggle! Also ensuring exactly what is needed by them (especially if it is in a different language!). I can see your work being washed away though, by the incoming tides, so having someone there to assist in the wet/damp sand would also be handy...
All the very best for it!
Mines up as well at AussiePomm - Blast from the past!!!!
Have a great day!!
Thanks so much for the feedback! You're right, customization will be the difficulty. At least, though, beach writing is free so if the customer is unhappy I can always redo it at no cost, aside from my own time that is!
DeleteThanks again!
That is a beautiful picture! That is a neat offer. I have seen pictures like that for sale. I, also, live right near a beach.
ReplyDeletethat is such a cute idea and a great picture ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting a linky, I have one as well, if you'd like to stop by, and there is also a link for a giveaway link-up ;)
